1. Trust is very important in a relationship.
2. Without trust there’s no security in a relationship; only fears and suspicion.

4. Don’t trivialise a good relationship. You may end up appreciating it in regret.
5. Good relationships don’t have parts you  buy off the shelf.
6. When a woman is a major thing in a man’s life but he fails or refuses to realise it, he’s trivialising the gift of grace.

The Great Rashidi Yekini

Nigerians, this is Rashidi Yekini.  The greatest football Striker the Nigerian senior football team has ever had.

He worked so hard to put Nigerian football on the map. He never rejected National call ups, he never discriminated against any National team player. He played every match he was invited for, and with any group of players.

Yekini single handedly qualified us for our first world cup. He brought joy to the hearts of many Nigerians and succour to us during many trying moments.

Yekini scored our first world cup goal, he won a Nations cup for us. Before then he won 3 Nations cup silver and one bronze for us. Oh, the Yekingly, the goalsfather who won highest goal scorer in the Nigerian league 3 times, in Ivory Coast, in Portugal. He scored goals for Nigeria at the Nations Cup in 84, 88, scored highest goals in 90,92 and 94. What a player, what a man.

Yekini died frustrated in 2012 after giving the better part of his life to this Country.  He was forgotten and despised.

Even though the NFF and his former teammates don't remember this great Nigerian anymore, how about us ordinary Nigerians?  Have we forgotten the gangly Yekini  so soon??? Have we forgotten the joy he brought to us? His fights for us? His humility and long suffering?

Ladies and Gentlemen, let's celebrate Rashidi Yekini!!! Celebrate him, celebrate him, celebrate him!!!!

Rest in peace Brother.

After the Reggae play the Blues: A message to Nigeria youths part2

                1999 Constitution
Our 1999 Constitution (as amended) guarantees freedom of association, peaceful assembly and expression (chapter 4, Sections 39 & 40). Imagine the compelling impact of a peaceful and orderly rally to mount pressure on government; Federal or State?
Remember the “Enough is Enough” 6th February, 2017 rallies across few cities to which Acting President Yemi Osinbajo reacted, Those rallies are believed to have propelled the Federal Government to launch the “Economic Recovery plan” afterwards. Nigerian Youths have a huge capacity to recover their stolen destiny from the cabals raping this country.

United, we can collectively, challenge those constitutional clauses that enforce their power to oppress us, like the ages for contesting elective positions. This kind of unity can make it easy to recall elected officials who reasonably perform below expectations, pressure government on issues as payment of salaries and pensions, the economy, employment, good roads, light, Water and other amenities. With these done fairly, who will cry of marginalization anymore?

Nigerian youths, “stop the reggae, play the blues”. Let there be peace and unity. Even if the country will eventually break up some day, let it happen peacefully in the same manner our independence was gotten because we will still need each other. We have continued to interact peacefully with the British people because the break was peaceful. By the way, Nigerians are living in other parts of the world peacefully. Nigerian Christians are living in many Islamic countries just as Nigerian Muslims are living in some Christian dominated countries and carrying out their lawful businesses. Why then can’t we live peacefully with one another?
Note that one may know how war begins but never knows how it will end.

After the Reggae play the Blues: A message to Nigeria youths

In this article, “reggae” is a metaphor for “war” (apologies to reggae music lovers) and “blues” for “peace”. Venom has been released into our national space, threatening our peace and unity. The reggae drumming is so loud that only the dance is remaining. If the youths do not stop this reggae drumming and the dance ever starts, we will all sweat blood.
Tension is high across religious, ethnic and regional divides as if they were the problem. But our problem is leadership failure from a chain of some dishonest cabals called politicians and elites, who squander our common wealth and keep us perpetually impoverished. They throw crumbs from their loots to few youths pretending to love them whereas their main motive is to enforce their political base.
Whenever we are heading towards discovering their antics and demanding accountability, they employ dubious diversionary tactics to cause confusion among us using our religious, ethnic and regional differences. Intoxicated by their crumbs, the youths fall for their tactics. This is their game for years and we seem not to get it despite our level of education.
But should the reggae dance begin, who will be at the receiving end? Surely, the same youths-victims of the cabals whose families are in the safety of Europe and America. If the reggae dance begins, and human blood starts spilling, and heads rolling, the cabals escape to join their families. And make no mistake, they will return with their children to continue their domination over our remnant.
Dear Nigerian youths, similar reggae drums preceded the 1967-1970 reggae dance which brought untold hardship and the death of innocent people including women and children. Why repeat an ugly avoidable history? No sane person hits his leg twice on the same stone. The path we are trading will only lead to anguish, pain and sorrow. Therefore, in the spirit of our common humanity, let’s stop the reggae and start playing the blues.
Listen to the voice of reason. Try this one action with resolve and determination and see if things will not change. Stop eying the looters’ crumbs. Nigerian youths have the numerical advantage, the education, agility, and professional advantage. All we need is synergy to form one united body that will peacefully and most respectfully but resolutely and uncompromisingly face the nation’s common enemies. Nigerian youths, it is time to take your destiny into your hands

Former Fist lady, Patience Jonathan, accuses EFCC acting chair, Ibrahim Magu, of asking UK government to deny her visa.

Former First lady, Patience Jonathan, has accused acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, of writing to the British consulate in Nigeria to deny her visa to the United Kingdom.

In a petition which was signed by her counsel, G.I. Abibo (SAN) and sent to the House of Reps last week, the former first lady who is currently being investigated by the anti-graft agency for issues bordering on fraud and abuse of office, said Magu in a letter written to UK authorities, made spurious allegations against her all in a bid to stop the UK government from renewing her visa.

She said the allegations were however investigated by the UK authorities and found to be baseless and false.
“In February 2017, the EFCC through its acting Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Magu, made a spurious report against our client to the United Kingdom authorities and other international bodies – all in a grand design to forestall the renewal of her visa and other travel documents. The allegations against our client by the EFCC were duly investigated by the UK authorities and other international bodies who found the reports baseless and thereupon issued the visa and other travel documents to our client”the petition read
Mrs Jonathan in the petition also alleged that the EFCC was unjustly going after her family members, accusing them of fronting for her to carry out fraud.

Badoo: Police arrest 87 suspects, declare 20 wanted.

In continuation of its clamp down on suspected Badoo members, Lagos State Police Command in collaboration with other security agencies and local security volunteers have arrested 87 suspected Badoo members while declaring 20 other people wanted in connection with activities of the group in Ikorodu.

The 87 suspected Badoo members were arrested in an all-night operation on their hideouts in Owutu and Odongunyan in Ikorodu. Those declared wanted for cult related killings include: Moshood (a.k.a. Mosho); Alfa (a.k.a. King of Boys); Papa; Fela; Alakoto and Chukwudi. The police also declared 14 others wanted for kidnapping in Ikorodu.

They include: Agbara; O/C; Femi (a.k.a FM); Pencil, Odidan; Jaru; Allen; Bush; Happiness; Fagbo; Junior; Nuru and Jamiu. The police called on the suspects to come out of their hideouts and report themselves to the nearest police station. The Command equally advised members of the public with useful information on the suspects who are all residents of Ikorodu to assist the police.

The raid was an extensive operation on the two areas - Odongunyan and Owutu. The operation was necessitated by more intelligence on the membership of the dreaded cult group and their mode of operations. Before the operations, the police in conjunction with members of the Department of State Security Service, representatives of the Nigerian Army, Lagos Neighbourhood Security Corps and Odua Peoples’ Congress (OPC) met with herbalists and Babalawos in Ikorodu and its suburbs on the need to collaborate with the police to wipe out the cult group in Ikorodu.

Representing the Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Fatai Owoseni at the meeting, Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Imohimi Edgal, warned the herbalists and Babalawo and local vigilantes to eschew jungle justice, stressing that the Command would not tolerate further excesses from the security stakeholders. Edgal solicited for more information that would help the police to speedily end the activities of the group in the area.

The Police Commissioners later met with Obas and traditional rulers in Ikorodu. Also involved in the exercise were the Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS), ACP Olatunji Disu; Acting Area Commander, Ikorodu and all DPOs in Ikorodu among other senior police officers.

SEX WORKERS IN INTALY

Deep inside the forest of Italy lies loads of sex workers who come from Nigeria. According to statistics, there are currently 10,000 to 20,000 Nigerian sex workers in Italy.
The early 1980s, Nigeria, Africa and France have a lot of immigrants came to work in Italy.
At first, they just do farming activities in some tomato farm land, however, when the farm closed, in order to survive they have to START MAKING MONEY.
As men remained at work in the fields of the southern regions of Italy where organised crime thrives, and the line between legitimate and illegal enterprises is often blurred, the first Nigerian women began to independently work as prostitutes.
